1954 Topps Al Kaline #201

An extremely well-balanced example, especially considering how often the 1954 Topps set suffers from poor centering and weak print registration. This Mr. Tiger rookie stands out as a showcase piece, representing the pinnacle of eye appeal. The centering is impressive—just shy of perfect—but more than strong enough to elevate the overall presentation. With clean registration and sharp detail, it earns a confident and well-deserved A. This is an exceptional example with strong visual appeal.
Great looking card, a tiny bit off centered and the top edge shows a little wear but a beauty.
I do not like the top edge and the paper loss on that area. I am an EDGE guy and the corners are not crisp. THe Red pops and the image is sharp
Not really sure what I would ever want to upgrade, if I owned this card. Would I want to pay a ton more for sharper corners? Nope. Could I improve the color or centering? Nope. This card is how it should be done, in my opinion. Textbook savvy collector card.

High, high A. As others have cited: minor flaws do get noticed yet only gently affect the eye appeal.
